Did **** seem a little more upbeat in this episode?

Maybe it was just my imagination, or something about Brian Bremer's voice acting, but Nick's general attitude appeared a lot more...positive?...than it was in episode 2. I'm thinking in particular of his fatalistic speech in the shed with Clem. Compare that scene to Nick's conversation with Clem after they've first arrived at Carver's camp, where he's completely steadfast about Luke coming back to rescue the group. It looks like he's bounced back from Pete's death, and not in the "I'll supress my horrible memories to the point where I'll go ballistic" kind of way. Nick genuinely seems like he's found a new reason to live.

Yes, I was a little disappointed he was sidelined because of his determinant status, but hopefully Telltale will remedy this in episode 4. Hell, I think Nick has officially become the longest surviving determinant character in the series EVER, and that alone is an accomplishment.

  • He spent the whole episode on a bed chilling

    "Yay I'm determinant!"
  • I want Nick to last 'til the end. It brought a smile to my face to see how upbeat he was being in this episode.

Plz Telltale, break the determinant character tradition. Prove us wrong. Give Nick a role. Make people regret not saving him.

    Make the decision MATTER!
