A question on the (maybe DRM) disc version of the game

Is there some kind of a drm scheme on the game of the year (PC) edition of the game?
like y'know, always online, disc in the trunk kind of stuff????

    It runs off Steam, and all steam games tie to your account. You don't need to be online, but once you activate the game, its locked to your account and cannot be activated with another account.
