I never really got into King of the Hill for some reason. So I'm not that upset over it.
(By the way, your avatar seems familiar.....)

I didn't enjoy it much either, but the American Dad thing's gonna be replaced for a Family Guy character's spin-off...

Apparently it's been canceled before. There was such an uproar that Fox brought it back. Probably won't happen again though :(.

And nothing of value was lost.

I kid. I liked the show in small doses. I just thought that it wasn't sure what kind of comedy it wanted to be, even up until now.

    It was about TIME :P

King of the Hill sucked, it needed to be canceled, now Family Guy is a show that never should've gotten canceled.

no family guy is terrible now, almost unwatchable.

I never understood Family Guy; I understand the point of the non sequitur clip parade they always put on, but the clips themselves had no point to them. It's not even like they make sense in any satirical way.

    Non-punchlines lack humor.

I haven't seen the new ones yet, cause I don't have FOX. How is it terrible now?

the jokes don't work any more, and have no inspiration, i believe that it is from season 6 (us onwards), 5 was ok but not as good as the other series

What have they been doing differently? I'm not trying to start an argument or anything, I just don't see any difference from early FG, other than the frequency of cutaways.

EDIT: Nevermind, you answered already. :p

I like Season 7, I think it's great, I've only seen 2 of the new ones.

By the by, this was actually amazing: http://seriouslyomg.com/?p=9576

Seriously, if I didn't know what FG was, and if I had heard this on the radio, I'd take it as a serious Bette Midler cover.

fair enough, i think there either needs to be a big change to keep it fresh though, something like they did with house season 4, making some of the major characters less important and adding in newer characters. or a long break can work for animated series and coming back only for short bursts of episodes, i.e. futurama.the only long running animated comedy i reckon that is still as good as ever is south park in my opinion.

I enjoy the series, so I'm disapointed. However, I wouldn't be as disapointed if The Simpsons was canceled. It's not horrible yet, but every season there is a smaller amount of good episodes.

I am not sure why King of the Hill was on for a long time. I watch it when i flip channels but my friends an I watched it religiously when we were in highschool. I stopped when Khan was introduced and how ppl in my HS would reference any asian kid as Khan and talk to them with that fake soundin asian accent.

I seen a few recently and am shocked that all the asian american male characters are protrayed as anatagonist in some form as in they seem to be an obstacle to the Hills whenever they are shown.

As for American Dad, I like that show even though I know it isn't popular.

I liked King of the Hill, it just happened to be hilarious yet bored the piss out of me at the same time. Quite the conundrum it was.
