    Maybe getting to wellington

  • Pierre: There. Carver's dead-

Breckon: But, wait. What'll happen in Episode 4?

Pierre: IDGAF. Writer for Episode 4's problem now.
  • just what i was thinking they dont got anywhere to go from where they are now

  • If I was to guess, I think Clementine developing is literally going to be the main plot now. With a backdrop of not dying.
  • Sometimes I don't think the walking dead even has a plot (Game, Show or Comics) but rather just a story of survival and them dealing with shit as it comes (Lee's line)
  • I think its getting to Wellington. which is where everyone seems to be going.

Make it to season 3 without puttin a bullet in my brain.
  • so these these 3 episodes didnt had any purpose? i actually agree with Rigtal maybe there,s not a main plot

I think its getting to Wellington. which is where everyone seems to be going.

  • Hell, I think that they've maybe got another card up their sleeve.

    There's always Nate. ;)

  • I think it had a purpose in that we saw Clem developing more and also about her relationship with the group.

    most likely

I think it had a purpose in that we saw Clem developing more and also about her relationship with the group.

  • Its whether or not she becomes a dictator like Carver and rule the world...

I would hardly call Clementine's goal of seeing her parents as the main plot of Season 1.
  • maybe i used the wrong words but seeing Clementine´s parents was like their main goal but now in season 2 there´s no main goal only getting to Wellington but why ? what about if its a false promise like Atlanta on the tv series

I would hardly call Clementine's goal of seeing her parents as the main plot of Season 1.

  • Clem growing up and surviving?
  • fair enough

  • thats the whole series plot but i mean only for the season

    Clem growing up and surviving?

  • no main plot, just staying alive
  • Clem growing into her own is, and has been the main plot line since the beginning of this season. her stumbling across this group and being taken hostage is just a transition to show her development.
  • The main plot is the same as every Zombie apocalypse main plot. Survive.
  • I think it's about Clem's mental state now. If you kook at Amid The Ruins slide, then that kinda suggests that. There is NO WAY she's not suffering internally!
  • this would be nice

  • Well, Season 1 didn't have a clear plot either. They just decided to go to Savannah on ep 3. From that point on things just happened.

Clem and Christa decided to go to Wellington on ep 1. Things happened as well, but it kinda doesn't lead us anywhere right now.
  • No, the plot of S1 was not about her parents. That was a sub plot. The real plot, was getting a boat, until it became finding Clem.
The S2 plot is about Clem and the others trying to get up north. I have a feeling though, that Tavia and the 400 days group will be back for revenge though.
  • I'm worried that if Nate comes back his character will be ruined now as he will be written by a different writer who will make him nowhere near as funny as he was in 400 days and he'll just be boring like Tavia or one of the other robot guards at Carver's camp, plus he'll probably get killed stupidly too.
  • Getting to Wellington, now with, potentially, Carver's people chasing them down.

But in all honesty, The Walking Dead doesn't really ever have much of a "Main Plot". the Main Plot is always survival, and the horrible things that happen to them. Specific drawn out things are separated mostly into arcs. Episode 1-3 was Carver's arc.

I came here to check if anyone else was wondering about this.

-First possible plot device was introduced in episode 2 where we were introduced to Carver: a megalomaniac psychopath who seemed intent on trapping our group and punishing us for any disloyalty, but he was killed in episode 3 and we escaped.
-We find Kenny who appears to have no sense of self-preservation, and appears to have gone insane, showing no remorse for getting people killed as well as what he did to Carver
-No one has come up with any sort of plan for extending their survival

Assuming Kenny isn't the main antagonist, they're going to have give the group a vision in the next episode of what our goal is. Considering we've already eliminated the threat they spent the first 3/5 of this season building up to.
  • I don't know where to say this but I really like that Mike guy.
  • the plot in season 1 was finding her parents until ep 5

No, finding Clementine's parents was what she wanted to do, like cameroncr95 said it was the subplot. The main objective was to survive and get to Savannah and find a boat and get to safety.

I knew that her parents where dead but i said we would look for them to keep her happy and focused on the task of surviving or she could "cease to function" like Sarah. The stranger told her that he had her parents and she went to look for him and got kidnapped which changed all the plans and the goal turned into rescuing Clementine.

the plot in season 1 was finding her parents until ep 5

  • This explains why they switched Carver's importance and intelligence out so they could kill him quickly.

Maybe Telltale at the last minute said:' Wait, shit, this game is supposed to be about Clementine, more than one Episode with Carver and it will start to be about him.'

Maybe the writers (I would assume they keep in contact so they don't fuck each other over by closing story-lines) felt that Carver needed to go so that the 400 days characters and Clem's group had more room to grow.

Just a theory, it just seems like there has to be a reason for what felt like a bit of a rushed death for Carver.

If I was to guess, I think Clementine developing is literally going to be the main plot now. With a backdrop of not dying.
