SPOILERS Why didn't Carver shoot?

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
In episode 3, after Kenny bashes Carver's face in, Rebecca walks over to Carver's body and takes his revolver gun. So I'm wondering, if Carver had an extra gun, why didn't he shoot Kenny before he bashed his face in?

  • Because he was shot in both knees, shocked and surrounded, he wasn't in a position to draw a gun.
  • I was always looking at that gun while Carver was at the ground .. i was afraid maybe Carver takes the gun and shoot Kenny ..
  • he would grab the gun by his hand and shoot Kenny ?

  • Well, he seemed to take being shot in the shoulder pretty well. Then again, episode 2 Carver and episode 3 Carver are basically two different characters.

  • He could kill 6 of them if he had wanted but in the beginning Luke has him at gunpoint the entire time, once he leaves yeah he could of pulled out his revolver, but I think he knew it was his time by then xD and by letting Kenny kill him in the fashion that he did and having people there to see it, he becomes a catalyst for far worse things to come.

Because Luke had an AK pointed at him. If he even tried he'd be swiss cheese.

Plus, Kenny probably would have seen it coming from a mile away if he was reaching for it.
  • I think that was the plan til Kenny sparta shot him.
  • Yeah, I agree with you. By not shooting Kenny and letting him kill him, Carver kind of wins in a way. It's obvious that this will change Kenny, and not in a good way. Damn, that's kind of depressing.
