Does anyone think Carver was sociopathic? Or just really overprotective of the people in his community?

Maybe. He obviously really enjoys having power over other people. I don't think he actually cared about them as much as he loved the feeling of having them under his thumb.

  • He wanted people to fear him so no one would disobey him, anyone could kill anyone, so he did ANYTHING he could to do so.
  • Nope, completely sane #Sarcasm. Yeah he was a sociopath!!! He kills Reggie for no reason! Not to mention he tortured Carlos and determinately Alvin, determinately killed Alvin himself, killed Walter, gunned down a group of people, forced Carlos to hit Sarah, determinately hit Clem at least twice, beat up Luke, and almost killed Kenny, causing him to lose his eye and get heavy scarring, as well as possible mental damage.
  • power-hungry fool.

  • Yes. It clearly isn't about protecting the flock anymore, but rather maintaining dominance and control over others.
  • maintaining his own ass.
