I did a bit of research on this "Evo Phase One" system.

Looks like one hell of a scam. For one, there's a surprisingly small amount of info on it. Most of the articles that detail it were written in 2006 at the latest.

Also, the "console" is just a halfway decent PC shoved into a tiny case, with a modified PS2 controller.

Here is the part that strikes me as most odd: if it really was coming out this month, the gaming sites would be all over it. Yet, the only site that seems to have this info is Wikipedia. The site that *anybody* can edit. For example, a shady business owner who is a bit too reluctant to openly advertise his "revolutionary product" that has been in the making ever since the Phantom console was suddenly canceled in '06.

    I fully agree, it's a sham.

I agree, its a phantom in disguise.
(I don't see how the Phantom didn't take off but the Xbox did...)

Maybe because the Phantom never really existed in the first place? It's hard for something that never existed to live up to its claims.

ANNISTON, AL--(Marketwire - November 19, 2008) - Envizions announced today that the EVO Smart.Console tagged the "System of Tomorrow" is still undergoing the final phase for FCC approval and testing. The company is optimistic that the approval process will be completed within the next two weeks. The EVO Smart console hardware, software, and packaging is complete. Another change toEnvizions' current business model is that the Mirrors Evolution software application will only operate on the EVO hardware, making Mirrors Evolution only available for the EVO System. This will make it easier for the company to support our existing customers and service only our hardware.
    For more information visit http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/Envizions-922607.html

Also its website http://www.evo-phase1.com/# will be taking questions which will be published in next 2 weeks.

So it looks like it might be realeased for the christmas season so will it play telltale games? And its open source and for an extra $100 you could get the window vista version.

    As an afterthought,
    That phantom picture,
    I've never seen it before,
the console looks nothing like that.

ESF2 is a energy beverage developed to increase energy and an indicator of the social status and intellect of our customers.

    Whoa!

Well then... looks like it actually exists. I still find the whole thing bizarre, though.

Hmm, I'm sorry, but I still don't think it's legit.
You just HAPPENED to find this PARTICULAR thread on the TTG forums? I don't think so.
Tommy Eiffel? I don't think that's fooling anyone. "Tom Superman" started this thread, which probably means that you're the same people.
I do appoligize if I'm mistaken, but I'm not buying the story. Thanks.

I think this thread's outlasted its purpose.

TomSuperman, to definitively answer your original question: We don't know if our games will work on the evo phase 1.
