Did *****'s death make anyone else tear up?

When Alvin died, I really did tear up. The way he said it, "Take care of my girls, I have a feeling it's gonna be a girl." Just got to me ): The line was really well delivered.

when he said "take care of me girls" that crushed me, then he died 3 seconds later. My eyes did water.

I think telltale was trying to foreshadow and will make it a girl.
  • Yeah it actually hit me pretty bad

"I.... I think its gonna be a girl" (weak smile)
  • Yeah i was so upset. I'm so glad i kept him alive for episode 3 just for that moment.
  • Yeah, it was so touching... but i smiled a little, it was really... i don't know... charming?
  • it was nice, but by that time, i really didn't care. it was a great scene, but it felt really out of character for him. all i've seen from him was "hey clem, got any food? check if there's food in there. when's dinner? oh, it's not for me, it's rebecca." or proof that he's whipped. the fact that he killed whoever this george guy was, and his last stand attitude just felt strange when put against the rest.
  • I didn't tear up but I did get hit by a wave of feels, I sorta wonder if saving him was for the best, I mean, he went through days of torture in Carver's office, and that really adds to it for me. :(
  • Man, after Clem said ''Thank you.'' I thought she will hug him. Even in the end if you ask him ''Can I have the gun?'' He says; ''I ain't gonna let my last act on this earth be handin' a firearm to a child.'' (determinant) He was real nice guy. He reminded me Lee a bit. He was the one who deserved our ULTIMATE HUG after Lee. I wish Telltale let that hug scene happen to Alvin too. Goodbye ''The Lord Of The Juice Boxes''
  • I didn't cry but it was touching and a better send off for his character than the episode 2 death. Still wish he had more screen time. Hopefully, they'll remember the mention about George and acknowledge it. I don't care if just comes down to Carver being a liar or mistaken identity but I'd like them to clear that up.

funny, if u let nick die in episode 2, that's exactly what his last act was. giving clem her gun. showed alot more trust in her than anyone else had, imo.
