The forum is only as strong as it's weakest link no users are bigger then anyone else if one leaves the user will be replaced by another the cycle continues even though miss some of mentioned users we get quality new users everyday so all good

I know both Viva and Saltlick and they come here through mobile devices so they are not allowed to post pictures. Riadon was banned for three months, you really think he cares about pictures ? Unbelievable. I dont know the rest but the way people talk I wouldn't be surprised if they've never posted a gif !
People leave as life takes over. I'm halfway out the door, myself. Don't expect me to ever post an "OK, I'm leaving forever now" message, though. Most people won't.
I can only say, if there's someone you really like on here, find some alternate way to contact them as well. There's Steam groups, cell phone texting things, a ton of social media sites, and even e-mail. I just e-mailed someone I hadn't seen in 8 or 9 years when I heard through the grapevine that she got married. She replied!
I've definitely noticed this, even though I'm fairly new. People like Viva and SaltLick were still rather prominent back then.
Funny thing is, it feels like people join and leave in groups. There's a lot of people who joined in December/January and March after 201 and 202 dropped. During the wait for 203 a number of folks who joined in December or prior, fell off the grid. I plan on staying for a long while, since most of you guys are awesome and the fan base is one of the nicest I've ever been a part of. but I've definitely noticed a dip in the quality of some discussions, especially since 203. There's less theory and more shit being flung around. Consequently, my activity rate has gone down a lot.
