Woah, just realized...

It's probably not that important but I was on the walking dead wiki to see who voiced Mike and I noticed a chunk missing from his ear as well as a scar, which is much like Andrea from the comics, and it mentions it on the wiki as well...

    And he has a huge scar on that side of his face. Based on these clues, it seems he was shot by a bullet in the ear, but it grazed his cheek before reaching the ear and knocking it off. Leaving a long, badass scar

    I saw that the second time I replayed the game. I was staring a the scar wondering what caused it, then I followed it and it led to his ear and I was like "OH DAMN"

    but ya thats a bad scar!

    Nice catch Juice, I didn't even realize he had a scar at all. Maybe he got bit in the ear and had to cut it off, which would explain how he knew what to do with Reggie OR he didn't accept Carver's "Love" and was punished..

    Nice idea, but to me it looks like only part of his ear is off, and it's the shape of a circle. A bullet probably whizzed past his face, slightly cut his cheek and went right through his ear, explaining the small hole. If he was bit there
    , I think it'd look something more messy, his whole ear would l probably be removed.
