Sarah's age/mental health

Does anybody else remember the (what I thought was creepy) Sarah/Clem moment where Sarah talks about being best friends with Clem? Sarah doesn't seem to notice their evident age gap, and her behaviour seems a little off, even if she has been well sheltered by her dad throughout the entire ZA.

Clem's maturity threw her off I think, even though it's obvious looking at Clem that she's younger, but I think Sarah just really wanted to be her friend and the age gap wasn't what she was paying attention to maybe. She was definitely a little bit creepola when we first met her, but she seems much better now.

I take that creepola comment back, as someone who just admitted to the whole forum that I love Sarah, I can't even keep the creepola comment in there without feeling horrible. Sarah what have you done to me XD

  • They're only a couple of years apart, I think that was what Sarah was getting at. Obviously Sarah can't talk to a toddler or a baby, and Clementine is AROUND the same age so I think that is why she said that.
  • Sarah was just very excited to finally meet a girl near her age. The age gap is only a few years, and she doesn't act very weird if you ask me. She's just innocent and exceptionally friendly which may seem weird because it's such a rarity at this point. Sarah's mental health has certainly taken a massive blow since her only family disappeared when her dad died, but I have faith that when Clem finds her, Sarah will be okay and Clem will be her new family. i.imgur.com/rzjQHXi.png
  • I think they are doing a really great job with Sarah and how they develop her. Carlos death is the most important step. I always suspected they might go for a Lee - Clementine relation between them and I think in the next episodes especially 5 Clem will try and make her more mature but that might lead to something tragic and Clementine will feel guilty about it. It's one of the theories.
  • Aw I love that picture

Thanks. I've been taking notice of some of the great faces that Clementine makes around Sarah and capturing them. If nothing else, it's evidence to show to anyone who might think that there is nothing special between those two. i.imgur.com/nKpd74U.png

  • Oh my goodness I love that one even more! There is most certainly something special between them, I absolutely love it. Remember when Carlos left Clem in charge of Sarah for a bit, before Carver ruined everything, and after Sarah gathered that something was wrong she had a panic attack and sat down on the floor, and Clem sat down with her, and then they both smiled at eachother, I love it.

  • Glad to be on the same page here. A lot of folks have practically given up on season 2 for various reasons, and I can only feel sorry for them. To me, the future of Clem and Sarah's relationship is enough to validate the entire season, despite anything fans have complained about. I'm still 100% on board with seasons 2, and unlike some, very much looking forward to episode 4.

  • Some people's impatience is working against them, because if we just wait telltale will wow us again, I loved episode 3 and I think it was the starter point to a build up of some awesome moments to come, but just because of some slight differences, people are jumping the gun. I'll never give up on season 2, and I'm so excited about episode 4 I don't know how anyone else could not be excited. One of my main interests has become Clem and Sarah's relationship, if all else were to fail, which that would never happen, but if it did, it's Clem and Sarah's relationship that would keep season 2 a specialty to me.

  • Not a lot of kids around in the zombie apocalypse. Combined with how surprisingly mature Clementine is for her age to people who hadn't yet remolded their expectations of prepubescent-to-adolescent children to fit the new world, especially to a minor who is still being treated according to said expectations, it's not offputting or creepy at all. Especially when said minor is also in a group of adults 1-1/2-to-twice her age and is frequently told to go to her room if she does something bad and so has nobody to talk to. Sarah is well-sheltered by her dad and very amicable.

I'm still rally excited about the rest of the season, i would love to have longer episodes but its looking like Telltale are sticking to around 90 minuets. I also like Clem and Sarah's friendship and i still owe her a hug :P

And now, the beautiful song that accompanies Clem and Sarah's bonding in episode 2. This song is heart warming, but at the same time it makes my lips quiver and my eyes water at the thought of Sarah dying. www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7RpclQoaEU&list=PLItG-Y7CSImcbO1SzWhL0fIec_dISih2E&index=40

It's very hard to make me cry, but the thought of Sarah dying makes me cry so hard that my chest hurts :(

Fingers crossed that Clem finds Sarah and that she's alright
