Is Luke bit?

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
When we first meet back with Luke in the comic book store, he was acting very strange, talking real fast and was very.... squeamish. And even when you ask if hes okay he at first says no. And the way he looks reminds me of how Lee looked right when he got bit. I know that he said he hadn't gotten any sleep, but don't you think that could be a possibility? I mean we don't even know what Luke went through when he was gone.....

Technically yes, he's bitten... by clementine.

He was tired, hungry and dehydrated, that's all. When Carver later beat him he was in better condition. If he was bitten by walkers, Fever would kill him before that time.
  • im playing it right now and i just saw that he looks better.... im glad he isnt bitten!

  • You don't mess up with clementine.

  • I think he's just tired...

Then again, there was that whole, "Where the fuck is Luke?" scene in the preview, so... maybe, but I highly doubt it.
  • The TWD universe(hell, most zombie apocalypse universes), nobody survived a walker bite more than a few hours(let alone a full day), so if Luke was bitten, he would've died by now.
  • No. He was just tired and hungry.
  • he is tired and hungry and probs sick.
  • Na (tho first I thought exactly the same), he was just exhausted and suffering from dehydration and lack of foood. And back at the fire when they talk about the riskiness of the escape, he seems to be in way more better condition

Yeah, I asked Luke if he was okay, and spent the rest of his scene trying to find any subtle bite marks. I was really expecting to have to deal with a reanimated Luke when I brought the walkie into the comic store. But after seeing him slightly improved while talking to the group, I was relieved.

But nope, hats off to you TTG, for subverting my expectations.
  • When I saw him the first time I was worried. but it seems that this is not the case thankfully. what worries me most now is the fact that he disappeared again.
  • You know what i meant.
  • No, he's just wasn't healthy at the point, sleepless, dehydrated, hungry, hence why he was sneaking around to get food and got caught.
