  • I realise that if they didn't do this we (as Clem) would have little to do in the episode, but I found it quite annoying at times when literally everyone expected Clementine to do all the work for them.

    Well, the St. Johns weren't foreshadowed as much and were most likely only meant for one episode. Carver was foreshadowed since the beginning. Now, Ben? He's a real fucking antagonist.

  • Also, unpopular opinion here but I'm disappointed that Nick has faded into the background and will probably die soon. With Pete's speech about all he needs to learn in Ep1, as well as conversations with Clem in ep2, I thought there would be a whole redemption arc instore for him where he would become the man Pete wanted him to be.

  • Yeah, Nick being determinant is just stupid and pointless. I don't know about surviving the entire season, but he should survive a good portion.

    If I could change it well 400days characters have a bigger role, Lee's choices are very important how Clem responds to people, Rebecca got her baby in EP 3.

  • Not the fact that he's determinant, his fate in our hands was one of the things I thought *A House Divided* did quite right. I would have given him a bigger role if he survived your playthrough, though. Nick is one of the most well developed characters this season, and it is sad to see him fade into determinant land, where he basically not exists or is going to be killed in a freak accident.

  • If they're gonna brutally get rid of Nick, Luke or Kenny, I'd change that
  • I would make sure Nick never became determinate in the first place.
  • I absolutely love S2 so far. The only thing I would do is add a little more interaction with the 400 days characters. Make them more important. Also in episode 3 I would make Nick a little more interactive and actually sad because his friend could be dead and all that.

    I would have reintroduced (introduced, to newbies) the characters of Omid and Christa *at least* two scenes before the bathroom scene. Omid can still die, but FFS, make us care. The intro was abrupt and you are then presented with the title and a pop up that declares that 16 months have happened. Fuck that.

    I don't know just how good of an idea the 16 month time skip was, but I guess I will roll with it for now.

    I would have put more emphasis on Clementine's relationships with the cast more this season. All of them. Of these, the one I believe has a lot of potential is the one between Sarah, Carlos and Clementine.

    Let us talk about Sarah. I like the *idea* of Sarah, but I can't really fault Greg for thinking of her as baggage. If they wanted to make some sort of Clem 2.0, then this is not the way to do it. Sarah would have been in my story a somewhat childish and naive 15 year old who is sheltered and inexperienced, yes, but is far from the simple little girl her father makes her out to be.

    You see, Lee worked as an adult guardian; Clementine needs none of that baggage, she needs a friend. I would have written a friend in her, someone whose interactions reveal a parallel to what Clem could've been had Lee and Christa not helped her learn what it takes to survive, yet is still a somewhat mature person who is just underestimated and unexposed of many of the harsh realities of the new world. Kind of like Ben, without the screw-ups. Nick, even.

    Carlos' dynamic with Clem (stay away from my daughter) would have been more explored. He fears for her safety, but he refuses to see that he can harm her more than help her in the long run, and you can either clash with him on that or go along with his well-intentioned, but maybe impractical wishes for his little girl. Have Clem be the Chuck of Carlos. Or not, your choice, your consequences later when he dies in *In Harm's Way*.

    My changes:

    Michelle holds Clem hostage at the diner while Omid and Christa try to save Clem. Depending on if you fight back or let Christa and Omid work out, Michelle shoots Christa or Omid (respectively).

    Christa or Omid (whoever you save) will still get attacks by the bandits, but you hear the sound of multiple guns.

    Reggie manages to escape with the rest of the Cabin group. He and Pete and Luke will side against Rebecca and Nick about Clementine's bite.

    In the river scene, if you give water to Victor, he'll mention "Bill... Betrayed us... He's still..." And die. If you don't, he'll say, "Bill was right... Y'all are evil..." and die.

    You choose between Reggie and Pete. Reggie, if saved, will flee with Clem to the distillery shed, while Pete and Clem will flee to the cigarette truck. Reggie doesn't get bitten.

    Pete will let you smoke and Reggie will let you drink. Either way, Clem asks about Bill, and both are shocked. They tell Clem to get the news to the group.

    Clem returns and before she can say anything, is forced to watch Sarah.

    If you save Pete, you find him like in the regular game, while if you save Reggie, he is barely concious, but he joins the group half drunk.

    Everything is the same for the rest of Episode 2.

    In Episode 3, Carver doesn't get killed, but has certain body parts removed.

    That's all I got.
