"All Fall Down": Who will make it out alive?

The sixth achievement for episode 4 sounds awfully ominous, don't you think? We can probably expect 90% of the cast (determinant or not) to meet their maker. I can't get the final scene from John Wayne's THE ALAMO out of my head.

With that said, will the player be granted an opportunity to save at least one other character for the finale? Maybe this will be the big Kenny/Luke choice many of the fans have been speculating about.

If you take into account how the personal "arc" of each character has been evolving over the episodes, I believe this is who we'll ultimately end up with by the time we've completed AMID THE RUINS: Clementine, Kenny/Luke (determinant), Sarah, and Rebecca's baby.

It may not keep EVERYONE happy, but IMO it's a scenario that would appease many of the fans who felt a little short-shrifted by some aspects of episode 3. Plus, Kenny/Luke would be allowed a far more major role in episode 5 than normally allotted for a determinant character, since by that point, it would only be K/L and three other survivors left standing.

    Isn't this a nursery rhyme?

That actually makes way more sense than I thought it would make.

  • I think it will be Clem, Kenny/Luke, Sarah, Alvin JR/Rebbecca Jr (Bec's baby), Mike/Jane (I have a feeling that they are determinant) and possibly Christa, due to the war museum

damn.. ASHES, ASHES, They all fall down.

I think this had to do with some thing about to devil of some sort.

---"Ring around the Rosie"--refers to a red mark, supposedly the first sign of the plague
---"A pocket full of posies"-- refers to sachets of herbs carried to ward off infection
---"Ashes, ashes" --either a reference to the cremation of plague victims or to the words said in the funeral Mass..."Ashes to ashes, dust to dust." Sometimes line three is rendered as "Atischoo, atischoo"--sneezing, another sign of infection.
---"We all fall down." -- The Plague was not selective in its victims; both rich and poor, young and old, succumbed.

Pocket full of posies was an attempt to cover up the smell of death. Ashes ashes cause they burnt the bodies as an attempt to keep the disease from spreading

  • I think around 6 characters (Clem, Kenny or Luke, Rebecca's baby, maybe a couple 400 days chars and Sarah) should survive, maybe even more.
  • I think it'll be Clem, Luke, the baby, (hopefully) Mike, and Sarah. And you're right, it does give off a little "Alamo" vibe. That final scene of the trailer definitely looked like a last stand.

Unfortunately the true story behind the origin of this nursery rhyme is dull by comparison. :(

I think Season 2's finale will be less lonely than Season 1's.

I'd guess we'll end up ending the Season with: Clem, Luke/Kenny (determinant), Christa, Rebecca's Baby, Eddie and Sarah

Nick COULD survive if Telltale decides to reward players...
