Anyone else not like the timeskip?

I hadn't noticed it until now, but officially, Season 2 takes place around 825 'days in' to the apocalypse. 825.The show takes place even earlier than that, according to how the timeline's gone. While the comics are set roughly 3 years into the apocalypse, it still feels strange we went from day 110 to day 825 in the game.

I dunno, something about the game taking place so far in the future compared to the rest of the canon bothers me. I get that the timeskip was necessary for playing as Clementine, but 820+ days? The 16 month skip is feeling more excessive now...

    That time jump... I understand the why, I don't like the how. I don't think I could have done better, so I just roll with it, but it was quite jarring at the time.

    It'd be nice if Clem had the option to talk about those two years.
