My thoughts on Episode 3 and the upcoming Ep 4
I am going to share my positive and negative thoughts on Episode 3 and what I think will happen during episode 4 leading onto 5.
Positives - Generally I thought Episode 3 was fantastic, I really enjoyed the story and events that took place, the new characters that appeared seemed interesting to me especially Jane. It has kept me guessing as to how she will remain with the group because she seems like a smart, surviving character. Carver certainly did not disappoint with his ruthless nature as we got a small taste of what he was like at the end of Episode 2. Certainly some shocking moments occurred. As much as I hated and feared for Kenny, I loved the scene when Carver beat Kenny to a pulp, bashing his eye although at the same time it annoyed me because I love Kenny and his character will now have changed forever but this is The Walking Dead and I'm just glad he's still alive! Overall I rate the episode highly.
Negatives - Mostly my issues are with creative. Like many, I was very disappointed at how short Episode 3 was just like 1 & 2. It seems they are sticking to a time limit this season which for me kinda sucks given how long and great all the episode of Season 1 were. The episodes this season have seemed rushed unfortunately, there has not been enough character development for us to like or really get to know the cabin survivors or even Carver. I was disappointed that Carver was killed off so early as I truly believed he could have lasted til the end of the season, perhaps chasing Clem and the others like an obsessed madman trying to get them back to his "family". I just hope TTG have plans for where the season goes now. Also I feel as though this season there are too many cut scenes and not enough time to explore and actually play the game. The 400 days characters cameo's was wasted. They could have had a lot more input in the episode. Lots of things have been left unexplained throughout Season 2 such as how Kenny actually made it out of Savannah alive, what happened to Christa and her baby (although I am certain this is going to be explained). Nick and Alvin's determinant statuses felt pointless in Episode 3 as neither had hardly any screen time.
Don't get me wrong. I love Season 2 as much as Season 1. It's different, it's going in a different direction. I just want the episodes to be longer, a bit more information and history on character development, more game time and puzzles would be good.
Episode 4 - Not much to say given by the trailer but what I think is going to happen is, Rebecca will give birth to the baby, possibly die in childbirth or something bad will happen soon after. I think that Clem will play a mother figure to the baby, Christa will return and help raise him/her as if it were her own? Due to Christa losing her own child. Christa seemed to resent Clem in Episode 1 either because of Omid dying or perhaps what I think with something to do with her baby and this could make up for it?
What are your thoughts and opinions?
Thanks

I don't agree that we need to know how Kenny got out of Savannah etc, I mean it's intresting to know but Kenny's already taken so much out of the episodes (especially 3) that we dont get as much dialogue with the cabin survivors. I really think it's important to get that connection now with the cabin survivors when most of them problably will die in the upcoming episodes.
