has he changed?

What do you think about sarita asking Clementine if Kenny seemed different...?

  • He's more... urban now.
  • YES HE HAS! I think im the only one that noticed, but if you look closely, you can see his stache evolved! HA I bet you didn't notice that did you?!
  • I think he has definitely changed. I mean, now he has a godly beard.

No but seriously yeah he has changed. He's my bro, but he seems more unhinged than usual.
  • Honestly I am disappointed that it didn't have more significance in episode 3. I mean you could say that he has changed with the whole murderous rage and violence thing, but that didn't seem too out of character for him, lol. Or at least it wasn't portrayed that way. It seemed to be a very legit and interesting question in ep2 but then episode 3 came along and everyone forgot about it.

Well for the most part he's still the same old Kenny. Its just Sarita met him in a bad time. Kenny lost everything... His family, best friend and hope. Everything he worked for, everything he hoped for, everything he cared for.. gone. He had to start all over. Luckily Sarita found him and saw how much of good guy Kenny is and formed a relationship with him. Then Clem finds him, she became that beacon of hope and another reason to keep pushing. Slowly he's substituting what he has lost. Gotta give the guy credit, he lost everything and still hasnt gave up yet :)
  • Didn't this have to do with Sarita trying to "change him"?
  • Since sarita didn't know him before it's kind of an odd question...
  • She seems a little upset if you tell her that "he's the same old Kenny" so it could actually be that she wants to know if she's changed him. Good point

Well I think Sarita was just askin' cause she was curious if she changed him or not. If you decide not to watch Kenny beat Carver shitless, she says "That is not the Kenny I know in there." which I instantly thought... that's the Kenny I know (#RememberTheMeatLocker)
  • I do notice a change in his personality and overall character, but I like it better than his Season 1 self.
  • Stubborn as mule, this old friend Kenny !

  • Indeed. My first playthrough, I answered "yes, he's changed" with almost no hesitation. Maybe it was his quick acceptance of Clem's vouching for the group, just a tad quicker than I expected; maybe it was that I always identified Kenny alongside whatever his crusade was, and he didn't seem to have as much of that drive as before.

I like TTG's decision to have that question before Kenny yanks the box from Sarita. Made it harder to answer, since I really try on my playthroughs to act like I haven't played the game before, unless I'm going for a specific path or reaction.
