  • Concerning that issue, I have my theorie. I'll write it when I will have the time but the general idea is that 203 was supposed to be Kenny's episode but 204 will be Luke's time to shine.
  • Hopefully that happens.

  • Similarly, Episode 1 was spotlighting the change in Clem's personality, and Episode 2 was Nick's spotlight.

  • Kenny took a hell of a beating for Clem, for me I like Kenny a lot more then Luke. Not because I think Luke is a bad guy, but Kenny has been there from the start. I guess I am just a bigger fan of Kenny and his crazy.
  • Hubs is when you control the character, find stuffs that helps you progress and..TALK WITH PEOPLE D:<

Let me take a different approach to what I wanted to say.
If you watched Carver's death, Clem's comes outside sees the herd of walkers approaching them. She sees them and looks up to Kenny with a expression that is like "Lets Go" or "We are in this" or "What now". And you would see Kenny staring back with a expression that says "I understand". This signifies that Clementine became part with Kenny when she watched Carver's death alongside him, it signifies that they are both a team now and are alike in mind(with all the stuffs they have been through s1 and s2. And of course she becomes distant if she doesn't watch Carver's death, This relationship of course is different from of Lee and Luke. But it safe to say Clem is more close to Kenny because they go way back Kenny is the only one who was close to Lee. I believe this is very important and would not lower/traded this to get to know more about Luke (...even though he is attractive).

Telltale's more or so have hyped us about season 2 being "Kenny vs Luke"...But in all honesty as much as we female mass, clem guardians, other people love Luke: We are not given enough reasons to why one should choose Luke and not Kenny, EVEN BEING A LUKE FAN AND NOT PLAYING S1 I can see Myself and Clem being more emotional toward Kenny due to what they have been through. This can be balanced if Kenny and Clem are in distress over Sarita's arm and Luke decided to comfort Clem over it. But it looks like in ep 4 Kenny and Clem are both going over what happened at the camp and Luke disappeared.....again...

Question is does telltale want this to be "Kenny vs Luke" or "Be with Kenny or not with Kenny", if latter than I guess we have no right to ask for more Luke's screen time because its just not part of their story.

    This confuses me, what's hubs?

  • OMG I loled. Take my like.

So you would rather have him fight and possibly get you or Luke shot than talk and be diplomatic? Wow. Luke was being smart: talking is ha

  • My Kenny, after all we've been through in season one, was unprepared to go help me find Clementine. Luke fights it out with his group to patch up Clem after he finds out she'll die if they didn't patch her up, and he's only known her for like 10 minutes.

I'm sorry, it's crystal clear to me.

I know Kenny for example would not of looked for approval his main concern will be saving that little girl no matter the consequence or reaction of the group.

  • You could say there's 'No Time Left' in episode 5 ;)

    I'm not even sorry.

They need to start at Episode 4 or it's over. There's no going back in Episode 5.

speak for yourself. I didn't grow fond of Luke at all.He came off as the anti-Lee to me in episode 2. He put Clem in danger more than anyon

  • Yeah, to be honest, I was sold on Luke when he brought Clem food back in the cabin. He doesn't know when Clem last ate, for all he knows, she could have just eaten, but no, he takes his group's limited supply to try and make amends with her. He actually SITS THE FUCK DOWN to talk to her, get to KNOW her and where she came from.

Clem had all these feelings bottled up about Lee, and how he died. Luke let it out for her. She was able to finally accept it and move on.

Then the bridge scene, start to finish, proved to me, hey, this guy trusts Clem. He doesn't think that Clem is incompetent, he's proving it to his group that she's valuable.

And then Kenny shows up, and it goes downhill from there. Kenny's good at being quick and on the ball, which makes Luke's clever thinking and planning look cheap.

Luke truly shines when we sit down to talk to him, or when we're with him one on one. He's not like Kenny and therefore can't compete with Kenny for attention.
  • Kenny vs Luke is gonna be hard, although, I think it might be Kenny vs Christa? The man, who took a beating for you, and protected you against Carver's group vs The woman who took care of you, fed you for 16 months + and helped you survive. It'd be better to do that, then again, where does Luke get his showtime?

  • I think the focus on Kenny this episode is intentional. Notice Episode 2 had quite a bit of focus put on Luke with interactions, where it even has Clem venturing off on a bridge alone with him, to that whole climbing of the ladder and discussing about Matthew. It's pretty much the same deal this episode where Clem and Kenny are trying to figure a way out and having moments where they talk.

That said, I wouldn't have minded just a bit more Luke.
  • Half way into Ep. 2, you are with Luke and the whole group. For the rest of the half, AND Ep. 3 you're with Kenny a lot. Honestly, they made Luke the Ben of episode 3. dat shit hurtz, k.

  • Kenny vs Christa? .....shit I have never thought about that...someone will hate me but I feel like she must have joined with the bandits that caught her..If she did it would make it easier for me to choose Kenny and Luke.

  • Obviously.

Luke needs more showtime, let's face it.

  • If Christa joined the bandits, then it's just easier to pick Kenny over Christa. IF that happens.
