Puzzles in season 2?

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
Hi guys, first post. I'm not a native english speaker so mind that. I am really sorry if there's already a thread about this it had problably been discussed before. First of all, I'm not trying to bash the game at all. It's one of my all-time favourites and season 2 seems awesome so far.

On to the topic: Puzzles

I really loved the sort of puzzles they had in season 1. Those that come in mind is especially the one in episode 1 (you had to get the keys) and episode 3 (get the train going). It just made it more of a challenging game and took a while to figure out. Also at the same time you could go around and talk to the people in your group which I found really enjoyable.

It didn't just give us a challenge, but it also made it a longer episode. But in season 2, I can't remember a single ''puzzle'' kind of gameplay yet. The only thing that can relate to this is when Clem tries to stitch her arm up in episode 1, but that wasn't much of a challenge at all. I've heard there's a lot of complaining about the 90 minute episodes, so why are Telltlate not sticking with the season 1 concept?

I became really happy when Clem had to stop the wind-turbine. I was like FINALLY! Then it turns out you just have to take a key and press a button, I mean cmon?

  • Yeah, one of my favorite parts of the entire Walking Dead franchise has to be when Lee first takes out those walkers at the motel, in Season 1 Episode 1, and that was a tedious puzzle. I completely agree with you, this was one of the aspects that made me addicted to TWD, and it'd be great to see it again.
  • bring puzzles back telltale
  • Puzzles are a good way to make episodes longer. So yea , bring em back!
