what's your fondest moment or biggest regret about season 1?
As regards the decisions you made, or didn't make?
I guess mine would have to be, the fact that I saved Ben's life at Crawford.
Ben was just a kid, whom was never given a chance, whom no one ever showed any faith in.
And research has shown if you treat a person as stupid or incompetent, they'll eventually believe it.
We all know how a person feels, especially about themself, is often times how they'll act.
So, aside from saving his life, I tried to show faith and trust in him.
Tried to help boost his self confidence!
And even when he seriously screwed up, I showed him mercy and understanding, even though I did feel he deserved to get his ass kicked.
And I will agree that Ben brought up Katja and Duck, and why they were killed, at the worst time possible.
If Ben had any kind of social skills, he would've waited for a more appropriate moment, after Kenny had had some time to recover, like maybe a couple of years later.
Kenny JUST LOST his wife and child.
So his wanting to kill Ben, is totally reasonable.
If someone had killed my family, I want to see them dead too.
Even though Ben didn't mean for that to happen, he still bore responsibility for their deaths, and did deserve to some sort of consequence for it.
If not death or exile from the group, once a permanent home had been found, I would think the fair thing to do, would to have him in essence do slave labor.
For example, if the group, from season 1, was living at the ski lodge, I would think Ben should be made to do all of the hard labor around the lodge.
That way he could still stay in the group, while at least paying some sort of compensation for all the harm he caused.
Not that he would go free entirely, but he would still be alive.
That's a lot more merciful than Kenny wanting to kill him.
