A Humorous Review

Here's a review from Kotaku (about episode 3) which I thought was rather funny in parts.

  • But mostly judging it on things that most players don't give a fuck about or would disagree with like when they called the story clichéd and rushed even though it's not

It kind of feels rushed since they try to make an episode 90 minutes instead of 2 hours. That means they have to take away hubs, character development, etc. to try to shorten the episode.

  • >IT HAS A RAINBOW

    Yup.

    > I didn't really like episode 3 was that it relied way too heavily on under-explained character motivation, rushed pacing, contrived scenarios, and genre clichés.

    Yup.

    > Hopefully Telltale can keep their focus on Clementine and her struggle to hold on to her humanity, **since my decision to have her stay and watch a violent murder at near the end of the episode felt more important** than any of the contrived creeping and sneaking I had her do in the hours preceding it.

    Yup.

Yup, although I rather enjoyed the office scene, despite being done in many other stories.
  • Hello, I give a fuck. It is a sad day to be a guy who gives a fuck.
