  • We don't know exactly until we see it work.

The game is canon to the comics, and in the comics amputation fucking works. case closed.

  • IT WORKED IN THE COMIC AND THE GAME IS BASED OF THE COMICS!!!
So yeah we do know, you just don't wanna accept it.

We don't know exactly until we see it work.

  • Yeah, or from any of the ones still living at Carver's camp, If any of them still draws breath.

I think heards happened before Regi got 'bitten' Maybe that guy who apparently saved him could inform us of the truth. If he's still alive.

  • She'll be right mate, she is doing really well, besides I didn't mention this for sympathy, it just seemed relevant :)

Sorry to hear that man. I hope she manages and recovers well.

  • Well, I've never read the comics so I wouldn't know would I. but since you're saying it in all caps it must work. thanks for clarifying that.

  • It is based on the comics. Not and exact copy of the comics.
They might want to take a different road.

  • You know what I just discovered in the game? If Kenny went with Lee in "No Time Left" and chose to cut off the arm, ''In Harm's Way'' Kenny can be heard talking to Reggie about a guy cutting off his arm to save himself but ended up turning anyway.

  • CAPS JUSTIFY EVERYTHING.
just because they're based on the comics does not mean they will take the exact same road as the comics.
But what do we know, we don't talk in caps.

  • Oh wow, I never noticed that.
I'm waiting for all the episodes to come out and play season 1 and 2 together.
I'll check it out then! But that sounds pretty cool.
I love little details like that.

  • Hopefully we'll see more of them.
Especially the characters from 400 days.

Yeah, or from any of the ones still living at Carver's camp, If any of them still draws breath.

  • It does work sometimes, if you get to the victim quick enough. I dont see Carver cutting off his arm simply because he wouldnt be as useful as labor.
  • Yeah, it was Dale who got his leg amputated and he was fine.

It works in the comics too, as far as I know. Amputation is an important theme in TWD.

  • YES THEY DO!!
lol sorry I get pissed when I get woken up.
But I don't think they would change that for no reason at all.
Telltale only does that when it would cause plotholes in the story.

  • I thought that was the point of Reggie.

But we have yet to see it work on the game. We have heard of it working but never seen it work yet.

  • Haha it's okay, it's easier to make a point that way :)

Nah I don't think either, if it happened in the comics, I would not be surprised it's the same deal in the game.
Still wanna see it happen in the game though :)

  • Yeah really, I do in some ways find their group more interesting than the cabin group. Even though in some way they are technically the same group, but still.

Hopefully we'll see more of them. Especially the characters from 400 days.

  • We didn't see it work with Reggie,
We just have his word for it.
I personally think that Carver chopped off his arm as punishment for trying to escape with the group.

  • Me too! The cabin group comes across as rather dull to me.
Especially in comparison to the past characters we've had in the game.

  • It works if you get there quick enough. It's pretty much a rule in terms of zombie films/games. Amputation DOES work if done quick enough.
  • Corn popper was saying it kind of weird. The show is based on the comics, the game is not. The game is in the exact same world as the comics, so yes, cutting off the limb immediately after infection will work.

It is based on the comics. Not and exact copy of the comics. They might want to take a different road.

  • Why would he lie about how his arm got chopped off though? I don't think there would be any consequences for him saying that it was a punishment for aiding the Cabin Crew in their escape, plus if I'm right; he says that Mike, one of the new characters, performed the amputation, and if I'm right, he is new to Carver's camp, since no-one from the Cabin Group recognised him, so that makes the punishment theory less likely in my opinion.

We didn't see it work with Reggie, We just have his word for it. I personally think that Carver chopped off his arm as punishment for trying to escape with the group.

  • Did you forget about Pete's cousin?

But we have yet to see it work on the game. We have heard of it working but never seen it work yet.

  • When I played episode 2 I couldn't help but notice most of the walkers attacking the cabin were missing an arm...

... and the truck Carver was using looked to have been just the right size to transport them, too
  • Seriously?
It wouldn't surprise me if carver was doing something like this.

  • But if he thinks Reggie is near to useless, why would he hobble him more? I think Carver was smarter than that. Also, Reggie was really eager to get back I to the group. It can't see him wanting that if his body parts are getting chopped off just because he made Carver mad.

  • So the episode came out recently and you still can't spell reggie ?whatever
