Luke

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
I noticed something strange in the ending of Episode 3.

If you tell Luke to shoot Carver ( Which will result in a quick and painless death) he freaks out.

If you tell him to tie up Carver ( Which will certainly result in the walkers eating him alive ) he agrees and starts looking for rope

What? What's Luke's logic?

  • It's not necessarily true that tying him up will inevitably lead to walkers coming and eating him alive. They were still in the compound, which seems pretty secure based on the walkie-talkie conversation between Tavia and Hank. It's not guaranteed that the walkers would be able to breach those walls. It's possible, but not as definitive as just shooting him in the head.
  • Sadistic fucking Luke.
  • How is that any more sadistic than beating his face inside out with a crowbar?

When you pick the tie up option, Luke does not plan to leave Carver for the walkers to eat him, Chances are Luke would of tied Carver up and then 1 of Carvers guards would come like Troy and release him after Luke and everyone else left.

Luke did not want Carver dead.
