Reggie as a character...
I've been thinking:
How awesome would it be if Reggie was a detriment character? Like, if you mess with the gate and get caught, giving Reggie a strike, then Reggie will die when Carver punishes him. However, if you don't give Reggie a strike, then Carver will take Reggie away and cut off his hand or chop off his fingers or beat him up.

That said, still don't agree with it - perhaps it's a problem with storywriting, but in a sense Reggie needed to die to continue the narrative; whether convincing Bonnie to leave [arguable, given her qualms before], or even showing the grasp Carver has over the group with Tavia's radio.
ohhh nooooo.. not 4 downvotes.... my life is over..... because I care what people on the internet think...
You really are lonely aren't you bro? I challenge you to make enough accounts to give me 10 downvotes.
7? 7? Pathetic! I demand at least ten!
It would of been nice to have him around a bit longer, we needed a funny man in the group.
Anyway I never really was too fond of Reggie. Maybe it had something to do with how his character was "Hyped" of sorts when it was said he would be a sort of comic relief. I thought in my eyes he could be a new Omid (RIP pal). But he wasn't, Reggie wasn't even funny to me. He was optimistic yes, but his character to some extent did feel rather meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Plus, I found his voice acting terrible. Especially in a game series that's renowned for it's stellar voice cast. It's like as if he was reading out loud his script for the first time in the recording booth.
So yeah, was never all too fond of Reggie. And while I did find his death shocking and saddening (I see every good person's death as saddening) I won't remember him on the long run. He was no Omid.
