What's your opinion of Nick?
I think Nick's a good guy.
And I think if others show him respect, confidence, and kindness, I think he will become a huge asset to the group.
I do not think he is gay or bisexual, like some have suggested on other forums.
He strikes as totally straight.
While he does tend to be a bit over defensive sometimes, he is willing to defend himself and will not allow himself to be walked on, though not to the same degree as Kenny for example.
When it comes to walkers, I think Nick could show some more balls.
When Luke made that comment about Clementine being able to handle walkers, Nick should to, while a bit abrasive, Luke had a damn good point.

Whether he's bi or gay or straight doesn't matter and we really have no evidence either way. He doesn't "strike" me as any of them in particular and I don't care which he is. It doesn't really matter.
He's also one of the more relatable characters for me, after his whole conversation about how he's just not the type of person who can simply pick up and move on over things like his mom or Pete, and how he envies Luke because of his ability to do so. He's simply the most flawed, real, human feeling character to come around in TWD for a while, I find.
On a side note, he has one of the best voice actors in the game. I don't think anyone can honestly tell me that their heart didn't split in two at his weakly said "...fuck..." after telling him Pete wanted to say goodbye to him. :(
One of those points wasn't necessary to bring up because we had a pretty controversial thread revolving around it. I just don't want to see the topic get blown out of proportion again like it did last time.
The fact that we know a lot about his past, compared to others, is making him more likable character, at least for me. He has his flaws and hell, he's not trying to hide them.
It's so damn stupid that he's a determinant character, it's like TTG just threw him away and gave more space to Kenny :<
Even though I as a human being do not necessarily relate to him.
I personally relate more to Kenny.
He's also proven he'll do whatever it takes to protect his friends, and I think he's learned to think before he shoots. The fact that he stood up for Kenny against Carver says a lot as well.
In my opinion, Nick is a fantastic character AND person. #SaveNick
He did fistfight those walkers at the start of EP2 to allow Clem to escape.
In my eyes, Nick is just a slightly better version of Ben! (Sorry uncle Pete, i couldn't keep my promise!)
I also really like how Nick got some real development during this season. While appearing initially hostile, he has then turned out to be something much more. He has made mistakes and is strong enough to admit when he's wrong, like his sincere apology to Clementine. I think I'll never be able to not accept it, even when playing a "Douchebag Clementine".
His general demeanour is quite lovable as well. He's like a mixture of Kenny and Ben. While he can have a temper, he also can be meek with his insecurities and kind of tends to mess up. However, all this has been done in a balanced way. With Ben it almost seemed like Telltale were reaaaaally trying to make us hate him since his actions went to almost absurd levels (the infamous hatchet).
I too think it was a mistake to ever make Nick a determinant character because now it seems like they are done with him. He already got a very half-assed treatment in episode 3. What a waste.
Just because Nick killed a man, doesn't make him a bad man.
Lee was proof of that.
As far as Nick knew, Mathew could've been a deranged psycho.
And with the world gone mad, being paranoid is understandable, though granted it isn't smart.
And as with Lee, even though Nick killed a man, in Carly's words: "It doesn't have to make you a bad man."
And that is very true, we do not have to let our mistakes, whether past or present, define who we are as people.
And Nick's actions afterward proved that he is a good man.
