The drawing, Kenny's name and Real names

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
1. Do you think this will this have any significance later on in the season? It's possible to burn it in the fire in All That Remains, I wonder if Clem will bring this up to Kenny in a future episode.

2. Also, is Kenny short for his real name which is Kenneth? Or is Kenny just his full on real first name? Carver called him Kenneth.

3. Last question, have you ever met anybody with a name from The Walking Dead? I'm not talking about the typical, common names like Shawn, Nick, etc. but rather the more uncommon and unique ones like Clementine, Lee, etc.

--I just figured that I'd put all three of these questions in one thread rather than make three separate threads.--

1: No i don't think it will have any significance later on in the season. The drawing was in Clem's backpack and Clem lost her backpack a long time ago. (Unfortunately)

2: Yes, Kennys full name is Kenneth. Just like Clems full name is Clementine.

3: One of my best friends name is Ben. Thank god he isn't such a total idiot, like Ben Paul is!
  • 1. I don't think so, those objects have so far appeared only in Episode 1 (Lee's photo in Episode 2 "Previously on...")

    2. All is possible. Kenny is shorter form of Kenneth (at least Wikipedia says so), but I guess there's a chance he was named just as Kenny.

    3. No, those names are anglophone, I don't live in anglophone country (but I like the word "anglophone").
  • I've never met someone with the name Clementine... but if I do... I befriend them and make them wear Clem's hat everywhere we go.

Then i'll try and bite their arm and hope that one time they'll say "Still. Not. Bitten." it's a long shot though...

    1. There was a very ominous sound playing when I burned the drawing, so could be that it was foreshadowing some doom and gloom.

    2. If Kenny's name was Kenneth, wouldn't Duck have been called Kenneth junior instead of Kenny junior?

    3. I know a Katja, but not a Katjaa.
  • I know a Lee, but he's from Mozambique.
  • My grandmother was named Lee. Though it was short for Leonora.
  • I know a Lee, and a Ly (pronounced the same way).
  • You sure it wasn't short for Lee Everett?

    2. If I had to take a guess, I would say yes.
