Glitched notifications

For some reason, my notifications keep glitching higher and higher. Right now, it's at 6.

Why?!

    I think what happens is whenever you even look at a thread, it will keep you up to date on new comments. It's pretty annoying because all I want to be alerted on are replies to my comments/threads I start. I guess just go back to the other threads and mark all as read to get it to zero.

    It's not a glitch... it just notifies you for every thread that you follow how many comments/likes are on the thread and such. Everytime I go to bed it's at 20 or so and I wake up to it being 80 something. If you don't care to get notifications for certain threads though, you can go to that specific thread and click 'Unfollow' which is right at the top of the box when you hover over the main thread description thing :P (I know, descriptive)

    Edit: Plus, it's always constantly at 6. Recently it was 3.

    I think it's only whenever you comment on a thread or upvote/downvote another person's comment.

    As for the OP, scroll back through your feed and recheck to see if there are any replies you may have missed. If a reply gets buried before you get a chance to click on it, the notifications won't go away until you do/

    Mine is always high. like 40, 50,80 or 60. Right now its 31 because I just checked them.

    Yeah, that'll happen. I just ignore it now since every time I lower it, it just boosts up again :P

    that's good. im always having to check mine. I haven't seen them at 0 since... I don't remember. Its kinda annoying.
