  • I was obsessed with video games, even though i wasn't allowed to play them growing up, I made friends with a kid down the street just to find some place to hang out and play games. You graduate highschool, college, get that 60 hr + corporate job. Relationship, etc you won't be spending times playing games like you think.

Sure you buy games, but you will start to play them less and less, it happens to all of us.

video games...are...life...video games...are...religion...video games...are...POWER!!! I'm kidding but they will always be my favorite passtime...always.

  • my sister does the sam exact thing, I end up playing for her.

Yeah, his reaction time afraid is so bad. I tried making him play the demo for Episode 1 and he was too busy talking to me about decisions o

  • I guess I'll have to wait and see.

  • I'm currently doing a playthrough with my 13 year old sister. We discuss decisions together and she's loving it so far. She's too afraid to play on her own, and has NO idea about the plot. Her face when Carley died was PRICELESS.

  • That`s really stupid. When I played the Season One of the game, I was 11. There is nothing wrong with this.

That is just scary. In the "How old are you?" thread, people are complaining about 12-14 year olds playing this game. An 11-year old playing is just wrong.

  • This is a silly question, but do your parents know anything about this game?

My 11 year old sister, more watches and understands both stories of twd and twau. I let her play twd only because when the tits scene came on twau boy was it awkward. But thankfully, she was a mature girl. I never really know what she thinks is better in some situations, just rather watches me do it and learns I guess lol (I go with abusive ones only when necessary i.e DUM,fighting etc). She only takes part when there was a romantic option and she ships Bigby x Snow.

My sister, who is 14, plays it. I dont understand how she can remember all the detalles of an episode (she aint a fan of TWD, she just plays it once when i tell her the episode is out) but doesnt remember the square root of 81

  • I let my older siblings play lol. My sister who is 19 and my mom are more interested than my 23 year old brother

  • Is your sister Clementine?!?!

My sister and I play the game. She's 11 but she loves it.

  • Only my father knows. Sometimes he can watch my playthrough a little bit, but he`s not really interested in this.

the only puzzle in twau that was hard was figuring out that glamor tube, but realize after like a minute. TWAU is easy as heck.

Maybe video games are a waste of time to you personally, but that does not make them so for everyone else.

  • I've let my little brother play some since my dad's played the whole game too and had no objections - my brother's 14 though, so not too young. Honestly, though, he prefers to watch Let's Plays and he's told me so, so that's how he ended up seeing TWD and TWAU, through YouTube and not playing himself or even watching me. It's fine and it's not like I could stop him if I wanted to, he spends pretty much every waking moment watching various Let's Plays anyway. What's one more, really? Violent or not. I figure he can decide for himself if he can handle it or not - he's done so in the past, when he's tried to play various horror games with me and just ended up quitting because he realized if he kept playing, he'd get nightmares.

That's not to say every child can make those decisions though. But I do think some can handle the game.

  • I was inured to the horror genre at a very young age and it certainly didn't hurt my imagination any, and so vastly accessible is the wide range of content to kids thanks to the digital age that I happily enjoy TWD as part of a family experience. One of my younger sisters and I play the games together as though we were watching a film. The great thing about these interactive games and the element of choices are the debates and togetherness that come along with it. I for one find it very interesting to hear similar and different perspectives on a player's experience with TWD's stressful predicaments and those decisions that come along with them.

  • My little brother asked me when do you get guns and start killing zombies when i had him play it and I told him the game is about making choices and interacting with characters and there developments and you only kill zombies sometimes, he than said this game is awful.

  • Me and my sis started playing season 2 when it came out (I have my own game in a separate save-file); she's my Q-smashing assistant.

  • With pleasure.

Punch him in the face for me

  • I've seen my younger brother play it on his PS3. He has had the GOTY edition for a while now and he's still on 102 I think XD
