    Wow that's weird timing for this thread. I just got to the part in Halo where you first see the flood.

    Yeah, I always thought my first encounter with the Flood was shocking, too.

    Well, I pretty much watched my brother play through the whole game when it came out, and I never got around to playing it till now. So now I know the whole story. I'm still having lots of fun with the game, though.

    Sorry, this is not how it's done. If you want to start a discussion, start a discussion. Don't expect people to go along with the rules you set up for the thread if you didn't even bother to get things started with, say, sample links, compelling discussion, or something else that would get people motivated to participate.
