Did anyone ever hear Kenny mention this?

in The Walking Dead

It was supposed to be in season 1.
Kenny, or katja, mentions that they use to have a dog, that to be put down, and how the event affected Kenny.

As many times as I've played season 1, I've never heard this mentioned.
Did anyone else ever hear this story mentioned?
And if so, what dialog did you have to pick to hear it?

    Well, he does bring that up in the meat locker if you tried to save Larry.

    "I'm the kind of guy who couldn't stand to put the family dog down."

    Yea, I think he says this sometime in the Meatlocker.
    Either after he "killed" Larry, if you helped Lilly. Or before when he's trying to convince you to help him, I'm not sure.

    That's a decision, that is one of the hardest for me to do.
