As a Kenny fan, I take offense to being called "hot headed and self righteous". Just because I like a character doesn't mean that I'm a cert… moreain way. I don't bash Luke either. I do like Kenny more than him, but I like Luke quite a bit as well. Simply liking one character doesn't mean you can't like a character that opposes them. Heck, I liked Lilly too back in Season 1 despite siding with Kenny. There are Kenny fans who are as you describe, but not all of us are like that and I'd appreciate not being grouped together with the more militant parts of his fanbase.
I dislike Kenny but it has nothing to do with the fact he's a rival to Luke, (who I happen to find likeable) It's purely because I didn't like a lot of the stuff he did in season one and I'm not a fan of his personality.
They want proof to themselves that Luke/Kenny is the ultimate bäst, and only way to do it shit on everyone so their favourite are going to look better?
To be fair, both of them has some dev issues, and fanboys will ignore those and want only one opinion!
I honestly don't see all that many people defending/ talking up Kenny around here. Maybe they did before I joined, but I definitely haven't been seeing a surplus amount of it since being around.
Kenny is one of my favourite characters this season, and I also like Luke. They way I feel about one, doesn't translate into how I feel about the other.
Saying something does NOT mean doing something. I assume that if it were Walter or someone else who cares more about people's lives he would stress on "not going tonight" rather than "leave someone behind". Or if the injuried one were Luke's parent he would also do as I said. Of course in that damned world we cannot ask everyone to be softhearted as Walter or care about others' lives as care about their family's. So I blame Luke for that but cannot hate him for that.
PS Sorry that I might have made several grammer mistakes...I'm not an English speaker...
Thank your guys for getting me answers~ Most of the replies I get here seem to be:
-It's Kenny fans' fault. (most replies to that are: I'm also Kenny fan and I do not hate Luke)
-It's the game plot that opposes the two characters.
-I like them both (or I don't love one of them for I hate the other).
And according to the arguement between FlamingOblivion and Belan, the conflicts started with the question "which the most suitable one to take care of Clem"... It sounds a little bit funny to me because it is the same question which bothered little Clem so much in A House Divided. And I'd like to say what I have Clem say in the game:
Comments
Well then, forgive me and let me rephrase myself by referring the "Kenny fans" as "The majority of Kenny fans who's hardcore and militant"
I'm not. I love em' both and wish they'd just stop fucking fighting -.-
No idea, good question. Never was a strong fan of either to be honest.

I really don't think so..
