ToMI not launching on Windows 8

Hello,
Maybe the topic has already be settled, but I can't launch ToMI on my computer. I bought it in 209 and wanted to play again. I have downloaded Launch of the screaming Narval from the website, installed it, checked that direct X was up to date. But when i launch it, in the administrator mode, using different kind of compatibility, i Just got the tiny blue circle circling for 30 seconds, tnen nothing. No new windows, no game, not even an error message.
What can I do ? I'm very disappointed...

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify if you can play the game when not running it as an Administrator and/or without running it in a Compatibility Mode?     Oddly enough, the game startede to work short time after I runned the diagnosis tool and send you the result. Maybe it's because you did something remotely ! Anyway, I've finished it, so I've downloaded Siege of spinner Cay... and again, it's not working. :(

    I apologize for any difficulties this has caused. Can you please clarify if you are receiving an error message, receiving an unlock request message, or that the game is crashing when you are starting it?

  • Actually, i have no error message. When I double click on the icone, I' ve got the window asking me if I authorize the program, then I click on yes. And after that, nothing. What is strange, is that I have downloaded the three last episodes and number 3 and 4 are working, but number 5 is not, neither. Is there any other solutions, like playing online or have my games transfered on steam platform ?

    Is that helping ?

  • No, nothing happens, as always, even disconnected from the internet, with episode 2 and now episode 3. On the contrary, I can open episode 4, even disconnected from the internet.

    Can you please clarify if you can play while being disconnected from the internet?
