Choice Mourned...

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead

Unfortunately in my first playthrough I saved Doug in place of Carley ...

Now I do not remember the reason for this choice, because even now in retrospect I am a bit of repentance ...

Do you think I should worry that much? Maybe it could not care now, since we are already in episode 9, but there is a bit of regret ... :(

  • I don't think it really matters anymore, I understand you regret it, but the effect it has on the story is minimal (I mean where the story is now, not back in season 1). Maybe they'll get referenced by Clementine, but they won't get any more attention than that. But if you really care that much, just play the game again, the game isn't that lengthy.

  • Doug was a great choice!

  • Both of them are good choices, they are both good characters.

  • Doug is a just as good as, if not better than Carley as a character, IMO. As long as you can beat the motor inn escape without much help. There's few disadvantages to saving him.

The only other drawback I can think of is not being able to reveal your past in episode 3...and you don't get the CarLee ship, which gets sunk pretty quickly anyway.

  • Yeah, I made the same mistake as well because I didn't know I had to select her purse at the time, but luckily my original save data was deleted by accident, so I replayed it with what I initially intended for.
