I love those touches, like how she holds her spoon differently to the adults. It just reminds you she's a little girl, and she was probably really worried for Luke, and she's probably sick of Carver's camp and it's people already, she just saw a man die by being pushed off the roof, then BAM Luke shows up and yes, she WILL snuggle into his shoulder.
I hope by the end of the season we have more Flower Crown Lukes, the world needs more of them!
