A Song I think would fit the End Credits in Amid The Ruins

So I was listening to music and I stumbled upon this song made by Johnny Cash called hurt. I think this would fit well to it.

To back my reason to think this would fit it, let's look at how the lyrics could be symbolic to the episode.

"I hurt myself today
to see if I still feel
I focus on the pain
the only thing that's real" and "my sweetest friend"- this could be related to Sarah considering her state right now I think she may try to commit suicide from all the stress.

"try to kill it all away
but I remember everything" - this could be related to Kenny remembering his family if you give him that drawing.

"everyone I know
goes away in the end" - I'm predicting many deaths this episode.

"and you could have it all
my empire of dirt" - could be related to Carver's talk with Clem in how they're alike and how his community is in shambles.

"I wear this crown of thorns" - related to Clem as she may do something drastic as thorns could represent harm.

"upon my liar's chair" - related to Luke as he may have some sort of revelation.

"you are someone else
I am still right here" - maybe it could be the baby as it's someone new to Clem and she'll be there for it.

That's what theorized, hope you like it.

  • I think "Ain't No Grave (Can't Hold My Body Down)" will fit more. It can also be used as Kenny's theme.
