We Aussies have our own version of football as well, so we always say soccer or American Football when we talk about those sports. Our version is the biggest part of our culture, and my dad was a big fan of it back when he was a kid. Well, being from New Zealand, I am closest to Australia, so, I'm seeing how well they do. In all honesty, I don't think they have much of a chance to reach the round of 16, even less so after losing to Chile.
Other than that, I support England. It's too bad they lost to Italy. Looked good in the second half, but, couldn't convert chances into goals. Let's hope they win their last two games in the group.

and when we have the ball we always run with it into too many guys or go too far in to the box and then shooting blind, or panicking...or we have to 'touch' the ball to the 'best foot' or to line it up... and everytime we get tackled or miss or it's a huge cluster fuck and we loose the ball and then the opposition score on the counter..
welbeck should either pass the ball straight away or at least try to hit the ball/shoot for goal once he gets it instead of running blindly in to the box, sturridge.sterling, should do the same instead of waiting for the enemy to come at them, they waste all the space they have and then get bitchy when they are tackled/fouled..
the ref was shocking,godin was in clear violation of several rules and should've been booted off the pitch, that to me shows some corruption, he not only used his arm in our face/throat he also didn't get the ball, so it's a foul for the tackle and a foul for the arm in the throat.. aka obstruction/ heavy handed attack.. anyone else would've been off..
and then the ref gives a free kick to uru when we were clearly fouled... hows that work ?
