Would you trust him with your life?

  • They ALL gave him a hint. Everyone one is constantly trying to tell him to settle down and think stuff through. Rebecca even identifies it as his major character flaw. He just doesn't listen.

I'd trust Kenny, only if Clem (she's literally the smartest fucker right behind Lee) tells him he has to realize not to hit first and think later. Seriously, they had seven people (now less) and no one even gave him a hint.

  • Kenny looks drunk. Or tired. Or high. Or something. Possibly all three.

You should use this picture of Kenny in the main post.

  • I don't doubt it...

There's a lot of foreshadowing on those two characters...

Pizza/Kenny Luke/Ice Cream Could it be?

  • Eh, I keep forgetting stuff, sorry. But that's why I want Clem to tell him, she'd be the perfect person to him him directly.

  • Lee and his wife couldn't get through to him. If he hasn't learned it by now, he's not going to learn it ever. That's just how he is.

I prefer a guy that can get his hands dirty once in a while if you know what i mean.

@KCohere Not to be rude, but that's the point. He didn't know what was going to happen, Carver could have done anything.

  • Exactly.

Luke. I could possibly emotionally manipulate that dumbass. Kenny is too headstrong.

  • Why does it have to be one or the other?

  • Kenny.

Kenny has a lot of flaws, but one thing I can say about him for certain is that he cares about children and has a very strong fatherly instinct. He even sacrificed himself for Ben, who he knew for barely over a week and hated deeply for indirectly causing the death of his family. He's been asking favors of Clem, lately, just as Luke has, but... I can't help but feel as though Kenny, if he'd been in Luke's position, would never have made Clementine talk to Matthew on the bridge and potentially put her in danger just because "he wouldn't shoot a kid".

Not to put Luke down, I just haven't really seen that protective instinct in him that Kenny's got. Maybe it's there and we just haven't seen it yet, but so far, Kenny wins this round.

  • Couldn't have put it better myself, so have an upvote and I'll just defer to what you said here.

Not that I don't think Luke would try and help Clem if she needed it - I just think Kenny does have much more protectiveness towards her, and would be more likely to sacrifice a lot for her sake. (Like his eye!)
