I just refreshed the page when all I saw was old closed threads WAY back from 2011. I was creeped out, refreshing returned it to normal so.. yeah.

No I don't think I've had that happen, only time I see old threads is when someone bumps old 2012 threads.

Sometimes old threads that haven't been edited or commented in like 2 years pop up on the front page.
Clearly the beginnings of a creepypasta...
someone probably just bumped em all up.

The threads are closed. Quite impossible for it to be bumped.
I think you accidentally sorted the threads to display the oldest ones first. You did this by clicking on the little arrow thing next to "Date" under the Walking Dead banner.
