I would think that they would want to concentrate on Mac capability first... They'd certainly get a larger audience there. However, this is a pretty cool. I'd love to see the Videlectrix mini-games on my iPod.
Hmm i would say the iPhone/iPod market looks more interesting to me than the pure Mac platform, although i also own a Mac and would love to see Sam&Max 3 there, if you have something cooking which fits well to the hardware's capabilities because a) defined platform (unless they release a v2 :O), b) the store (okay this wouldn't be the reason for ttg), c) as it looks now a prospering future.
It's just relaxing playing with this device for instance lying in your bed instead of sitting in front of your computer and with the multitouch a.o. you also get some good and different input possibilities which play in the hand of point&click adventures. The only major drawback beside of the not so good soundquality (if you're using the built in speakers) is the battery life.
Best would be if we finally get a real portable device in a notebooksize with just a multitouch screen. Anway it's fun programming for the device. :O)
By the way there already exists an episodic adventure called 1112, *pssst* with inventory puzzles:
I don't think it would be very good. I only know 1 person who has an Iphone, yet almost everyone I know has a PC.
I only know one other person with a PS3, but I wouldn't go telling people not to make games for it based on that /:
I know plenty of people with iPhones and iPods though.
And just in case it got unnoticed, 1112 really is a cool adventure, not in terms of complexity but it feels just right and the userinput/-interface is great.
For the final product they changed the user interface (for instance linear menus were replaced by pie menus - Maya) and it works like a charm, no gestures or clicks get lost. Inspecting the environment is done by moving your mouse ähh sorry finger over the screen and the rollover text is shown in the upper left corner.
Works very well, as long as you don't have more such wrestler hands where your thumb covers already half of the screensize. I might also help cutting your fingernails at least once a year.
Telltale Games is a small "independent" studio which currently focusing on their resource in PC and Wii right now. It's not easy just porting one program platform to another and hoping to work flawlessly.
Also you can do 3D with Nintendo DS and there's more people own a DS than an iPhone.
Well, propably not if you're developing your own middleware. The 3d capabilities of the iPhone are more advanced and the amount of people isn't the only relevant factor for choosing a platform.

That is all.

With Overhead view!
Seriously though, If wii can just barely run S&M (with audio glitches), do you honestly think it will run on a DS?
