Trust, the thing that can save us in the apocalypse, but can also be the last nail in your coffin at the same time. We discuss about it a lot in this game, so I wanted to show you guys a new little insight Robert gave a nudge at in the latest issue.
This happened right before entering the Alexandria safe zone:
And in the latest issue, the same line is said again by Magna, only now the one with a question mark floating above his head is Rick and not Aaron:
This came a full circle, and it shows us how we are all so alike, fighting and doubting everyone's honesty to stay alive, there are 2 sides to every story, and I think Robert showed it off brilliantly in this issue.
After saying this, I'm gonna ask you something different:
"If people don't trust you, how can you trust them?"
Can you? I think that according to what we see in the comics, combined with a good bullshit detector, sharp instincts and thinking step by step, you can start slowly trusting people around you without doubting it. Hell, we do it by showing our faces to each other and that just proves my point even further.
Just a little food for thought.
