Regret
I really regret chopping off Saritas arm, the more I think about it. She'll scream and either attract the dead or Tavia and the rest of the group to probably shoot at her and Clementine or something. Oh god, I should have let her be bitten, at least then she'd have a few short hours to spend with Kenny. Oh no, what have I done? It was in the heat of the moment! Damnit Telltale!
Does anyone else regret this choice?

Yes. Me too. I didn't even think about all the things you said. I just did it in the heat of the moment and then immediately felt bad. Now, she could die anyway (bleeding to death with no Carlos around) AND she had her arm painfully chopped off. As Lee, I chose not to chop my own arm off because I didn't think it would work and it would just put Lee through unnecessary pain. I should have let Sarita have that choice too. I regret making her decision for her.
Thinking back on it yeah, maybe. It could help, but it could also make things worse like you said.
It was a split second decision though, and I'm gonna stand by it. Because I feel like that's the point of these kinds of decisions. Even if it does end up that the obvious thing to do wasn't the right thing to do. :C

Glad I never chopped it. I didn't think it would cut the arm so easily.
Yeah, I didn't want to cut off her arm but I did it for Kenny's sake. At least Kenny will know that I tried to save her.
Man...either choice is so bad.
On one hand, if you cut her arm off, she will die eventually. Not only that, but Kenny will be angry at you that you didn't even try to help.
On the other hand, if you do cut her arm off, she may bleed out, or get infected, or so much worse.
Plus, either way...Kenny gon' be pissed.
I felt the same way only because of the zombie blood on the hatchet. Of course, when I think about it, in the moment, cutting it off COULD HAVE stopped the chance of infection and just killing the zombie wouldn't do anything for Sarita's arm and the infection.
On the other hand (ha..hahaha...) cutting off her arm isn't too smart because you need something to stop the bleeding. (Pure in-the-moment moment for me.)
I'm sure she'll be fine.
