Kinda curious, how much did you agree with him before that? I know that if he's hesitant to help at first the "Clem is my family" option will convince him to come. I do agree that it's pretty shitty of him to give you trouble if you disagreed with him just a few times. xD But I feel as if he just wasn't thinking clearly in the moment, due to his family having died a few days prior and the alcohol he found at the house. For me, what mattered is that they all helped in the end even if they didn't want to at first.
Yes they do but that's more understandable than Kenny. They were with our group for two or three days. Kenny had been with Clementine and Lee for over three months. Lee considered him a friend and so did Clem, so that's what made it worse for me.
If I remember correctly, it's been many months and many playthroughs, the only thing I went against him on was not killing Larry or Ben. He was pretty pickled, his surly attitude just really made me mad, like with the boat thing and him jumping down everybody's throats whenever they question him.

Eh, I wouldn't say daughter. If anything just a kid that he wants to protect, because everyone else from their original group is dead, and she's the only one left that knew his family. I still think he may be doing it because she's sort of a replacement for Duck in his eyes, since she and Duck were friends, but I think it's because it's the only way Kenny can function, he needs someone to protect and provide for. Playing as Clem though, I don't get any father-daughter vibes from their relationship like we did with her and Lee, instead Kenny just feels like an uncle.
I see Kenny more of an uncle figure for Clementine. Kenny and Lee were bros after all. Lee will forever be the father-figure. Like Lee he proved to us he really cares for Clementine. In S1 we didn't get much interaction between them other than we knew he was concerned of her well being. This Season we got to see a more awesome side of Kenny, someone willing to go to any length to protect her even if he's a wreck. He took a beating for her god's sake! I think the death of his family made him even more determined to protect the ones he care for as time passed. Plus Clem's the las remnants of his past(same for Clem). Sarita and Clementine are the only family he's got now. He was awesome in S1 for how much he cared for his family, even more now we finally got to see how just much he and Clem care for each other. I may have a few problems with Kenny in S1, but this season I got mad respect for him (even if there's a few things I disagree with still).
PS I'm not going to be someone who acts like he's a god, but more of a person I respect nonetheless.
I feel as though Kenny has a need to protect her. Lee was one of his close friends, I think he viewed Lee like a brother. So it is only natural for him to want to protect Clem not just for Lee but he also really cares about Clem. I think in Clem's eyes, No one can be as good as Lee, Lee was definitely like a father to Clem,So Kenny will try be the next best thing, He's like that awesome uncle.
Do you also hold this opinion towards Christa, Omid and Ben? they could've potentionally not come with you, just like Kenny. Anyways, even if you were an ass to Kenny he'll come with you if you say Clem is your family. That's gotta count as well.
Im tired of people justifying everything he does. Everyone lost someone. If he cared anything about Clementine, he wouldnt be using Clementine to get back at Lee for not agreeing with everything he said. Thats not what a friend does.

I find it interesting how many parallels there are between Lee and Kenny, now that I really think about it...
Lee was given a second chance to redeem himself for his past mistakes by taking care of Clementine, and now Kenny's sorta trying to do the same thing. Now, Kenny can never replace Lee, but it's very clear that Telltale is trying to make us feel like he's Clem's protector for this season.
My biggest problem with Kenny then, is that I supported him through pretty muche everything. I protected his son, I stood up for him, I listened to what he had to say. But no, because I didn't fucking straight-up murder an old man in a meat locker, I was never there for him and his family. That's my beef with Kenny.
Do you mean S1EP5? Because it would be weird if Kenny suddenly acted like her guardian then, even though Lee was bit he was still Clementine… more's guardian, not Kenny.
Also, I don't think Kenny would have it in him to act like a father figure to her when he just lost his family two days ago in S1EP5.
Holy shit Telltale Forums, he respectfully and politely says that Kennynis more like an uncle and he get's seven fucking dislikes? Are you all ten? I can't believe the immaturity of the Telltale forums sometimes, Jesus Christ..

Oh wow, I haven't looked at this thread since I posted that comment. Thanks, SuperChocoLatte, but I kind of figured I'd get disliked since I wasn't exactly praising Kenny on such a pro Kenny thread, and I think this was shortly after episode 3 when the Kenny hype was off the rails.
I guess people just had a problem with me saying I thought Kenny was treating Clem as a replacement Duck? I guess that was my fault for not being really clear on it. I didn't mean that he literally wanted someone to replace Duck, I meant that in the in the sense that Clem is the closest connection he has to his family, since she's the only person left alive that remembers them, and he's always been characterized by being the guy that only wants to protect his family. So now that his family is dead, he needs a new family to protect, and that was Clem and Sarita... but now it's the baby.
But nah, let them downvote me if it makes them feel better, they're entitled to their own opinion too. I still view Kenny as an uncle figure though, and no amount of dislikes will change that. And btw, I'm a girl. :P

Some leakers confirmed that Rebecca's son (You may choose what to name him in E5 between:Lee,Kenny Jr,Alvin, and carver) will be S3's protagonist alongside with adult Clem and death of most characters, but not Kenny.
Kenny is a family person, his heart is big and he shows his emotions more than other characters for sure. He's lost everything he ever cared for and he only lives when he can love and protect - when people he loves die, he feels guilty; he's lost and angry at himself but he's also a coward/asshole (pick your word) for blaming everything on other people.
He's hot-tempered, there's really not much anybody can do about it. He does not think before he acts which leads him to make mistakes but we truly cannot deny that he's really attached to Clementine.
Clem was Duck's friend; she'd keep some humanity in the (old) group and she's also the only survivor from the old group - the only person left who knew the "real" Kenny.
She was Lee's family and no matter what happened between them (depending on your choices) he knew that Lee was a good man, he respected him and he feels like he has to make sure nothing happens to Clementine as long as he lives.
As it's been mentionned on this thread before, Kenny is in denial of Lee's death aswell. Clem considers Kenny like an uncle, obviously.
The reason Kenny says "Pass me that can, Duck" to Clementine is because he asked something while his mind was away, thinking about his past and he mixed everything up. That happens to a lot of people.
So yeah: Kenny is a great guy with a big heart but he's led by his emotions - he has no excuse for being an asshole to the others but that's how Kenny is. You can be like me and forgive him after being a little angry for a moment or just like some other people, you can't drop it and you keep disliking him. That's why Kenny is such an interesting character, you can't just love him or hate him - there are mixed feelings about him.

Didn't Kenny's voice actor Gavin say that Kenny's like a grumpy uncle to Clem? I mean I could agree with that, because Lee was like a dad and nobody's ever going to be able to replace him. But I can view them as that.
Although I'm kinda scared what's going to happen now after the recent episode. Kenny seemed really pissed off

I see it as more of an uncle/niece relationship, but yes, I would say that he definitely cares a great deal about her.
Kinda curious, how much did you agree with him before that? I know that if he's hesitant to help at first the "Clem is my family" option will convince him to come. Yeah, that's probably it

So it doesn't count that he took the fall for the radio scheme in S2E3 and lost his eye for her? Because I think that might just count.

Well, I think Kenny just wants to keep her so he can replace the lost feeling of Duck.

I think he's kind of like Clem's uncle or godfather.
No, I dont and I stated why below.
Whether he's viewing her as if she were his daughter or not. One thing I do know for sure is that he'd protect her as if she were his daughter
I would say he's trying to find lee in her the baby is his duck an clementine is his lee

I think so.
Clem and Kenny are like family in my play through.
I really hope thats not what they are trying to do because its not working.
For her sake, I hope not.
I think the baby will take Clem's place, to Kenny.

I'm a Kenny fanboy and I totally agree have my thumbs up

The baby already has.
Those are 7 guys who loves Luke and his sexy attitude..
Anyways,Kenny is the best character after Lee and Clem so far, can't find any better character even after playing Ep's from S1 until S2: 1-9.
No one mentioned Glenn,Ben,St. Johns, and all those guys. What happened to them?Especially Glenn?
Aw, thanks mate. I'll give you one too.
I'm cried like a little bitch, when I saw Kenny
Actually, I think they are building Season 3's Kenny in S2. Kenny and Clem might end up on their own for a little while.

I really do not want to play another season where Kenny is the focus. I've had my fill of him.
last time i saw, kenny think of her as "stupid little kid" and blames her irrelevant of what she did
