Black screen with sound but no video

Hey guys, I'm in need of assistance. I just purchased and downloaded TWD S1 on steam, and I've opened it, and gotten a black screen (aside from what i assume is the regular text) and a pinkish square acting as the cursor. The sound still plays in the background, and I can start the campaign fine, but there is only sound, no video playing. I've tried returning to the menu and running low graphics.
