Brutal Legend - New Trailer Discussion

It was shown during the VGAs last night, but for all those who missed it - here's a link .

I think Jack Black is an odd fit for the character. When I first saw how the main character looked in the teaser trailer, I didn't picture Jack Black's voice coming out of his mouth, but it seems that Tim Shaefer's sense of humour is entirely entact!

What does everyone else think?

Did you see Tim's entrance?!?! He came on in a charriot drawn by scantily clad women while Jack Black constantly fired a flamethrower in the air shouting "TIM FREAKING SCHAFER!!! TIM FREAKING SCHAFER!!!" over and over again!!

It was amazing and so was the trailer!! I'm officially HYPED!!:D

The "Big ugly demon" line at the end of the trailer sounded less Jack Black and more Bruce Campbell.

And that make me *very* happy.

Woah... that trailer was EPIC. Dunno if I'm fully sold on the game right now (I don't know enough about it), but I loved Psychonauts, so I'll be tuning in to the news feeds at the very least.

And, come on... it's TIM FREAKING SCHAFER.

Actually, when I first saw a picture of the character I knew Jack Black would be perfect. And with Dio, Lemmy, and Halford contributing their voices(and possibly music!) as well, this could be the greatest game ever. If only they could've gotten Bruce Dickinson as well.

Hmmm... I am really concerned I will be let down by this game. I love Tim Schafer, and I love Jack Black... but I worry that I will get too hyped up for this game.

But if it plays anything like Psychonauts, or has its own special style, I probably will fall in love with the video game, marry it, buy a house, and live happily ever after.
