You're saying people will assume it stands for dick, right? Sure, some will. Others won't have a clue, and won't care either way. Most would guess it's a sports team they haven't heard of. Some will ask out of genuine curiosity, in which case you get to pitch one of your favourite games to them.
Besides, dirty minds are hardly new. If you walked around with a gigantic C on your stovepipe hat two centuries ago you'd probably get the same reactions.
