Gavin answered all 4 of my questions. Most of them were random but I feel like I have accomplished something today... I have waited so long for this moment.
Hey Giraffehat, you know your recent videos that had a reoccurring theme of the movie Frozen... Well....
Do you like the movie Frozen? (W… moreeird question but it's a reoccurring theme in King Giraffehats videos on YouTube, even Kenny said he liked it!)
I liked it a lot!
OHHHH. HE ANSWERED MINE AND LOOK, GUYS.
Question: Sorry if this is a spoilery question and you can't answer it (so I hope it is vague eno… moreugh), but since Kenny and Luke do clash so much in terms of leadership and personality - will that continue to come into play in episode four? If you can't answer this, that's okay! Thanks for doing this, btw!
Gavin Hammon Answered: There may be an... incident.
I doubt. When people asked Melissa she asked back: " What is the deal with all these Pizza and Ice Cream questions?". And then someone explained to her.
He's been answering these since last night and he's gotten a LOT of repeats. I imagine it gets very exasperating to get questions like "What happens in episode 4?" and "Why don't you play the game?" and "Is Kenny going to be in season 3?" OVER and OVER and OVER again. Personally I commend him for his patience, I'd be just about flinging my laptop out the window.
I can relate to him, although his situation and mine are kind of different. A lot of the comments I get on my videos are just random quotes, and nothing else. It's so infuriatingly insubstantial. It wouldn't bother me if they added pretty much anything that contributed to discussion, but when you see the same quote(s) repeated over and over and over again, it really gets on your nerves. While not the same set of circumstances, I can totally, 100% sympathize with Gavin

I've drawn and written some stuff that got a bit popular--not remotely on Gavin's level, or yours, even, but I've also had to deal with inane commentary that gets really old really fast, so I can sympathize, too. It's very cool that people are enthusiastic, but sometimes they take artists/creators for granted. There's a definite sense of entitlement at times.
Like... Gavin is such a nice guy to even do this to BEGIN with. He doesn't owe you an immediate response that's sugarcoated to your liking. He's doing this on his own time and he's not getting paid for it. Give him a break.

OH MY GOD YES. That is one of the most relatable and agreeable posts I've read this week. I've had people literally "order" me to make a video from a particular series. I dedicate hours of my life and free time to make free entertainment, yet they have the audacity to demand things from me. Disgraceful. Although, I respond to requests with civility.

We don't create stuff by just putting it into a machine and waiting for it to pop out. It takes a lot of effort, and like you said, we don't get paid. We do it because we love it and it makes us happy. We do it for ourselves, but everyone else seems to be under the impression that we do it for them. And that's so disrespectful.

Even if I was profiting from my videos, my opinion wouldn't change. You said that they believe we do it for them, and I agree. I put that down to ignorance on their part. (Not meant as an insult, simply "a lack of knowledge") They don't have the thought patterns/processes that we content creators do. It's difficult for them to empathize with something they have no understanding of.

It's true, and I hate to sound elitist, but the only people who really get it are other artists/creators. Obviously there are outliers, but like... for a long time I didn't even notice when people would repost uncredited artwork. I didn't approve of it, but it just didn't seem like a big deal to me. Then I started creating my own art, and it got popular and reposted on other sites without any credit, and that's when I started being a lot more conscious of it and openly defensive when I saw it.
You know how much that kind of disrespectful behavior can hurt you, and you don't want it to happen to other people.

I don't think that's elitist at all. We have had the experience, so we understand. Plenty of people, however, do not.
Luckily for me, it's pretty much impossible to take credit for a video. Unless someone created a fake account pretending to be me, but I'm nowhere near popular enough for that.

If my imgur was working right now, I would've posted a gif of Kenny's face going from depressed to a smile.
And can someone please screengrab that comment? I'm on my phone right now.
Thank you for everything, Gavin. You've answered about 15 of my questions, I'm so happy that you could take time out of your probably busy day to do this for us. Thank you for being so kind! I hope you have a great day! (Hello from Oklahoma! :P)

I suddenly feel sooooo much better about killing the walker instead.

Yeah, I saw that one, too. He also said he saw The Walking Urban, but I already knew that.
That was my question
He said to me, depending on your choices, Kenny can be an asshole to Clem this episode.
I'm sure people who dislike Kenny will be happy that their choices actually impact the story for once.
Yeah. MAY be.
Well shit
I doubt. When people asked Melissa she asked back: " What is the deal with all these Pizza and Ice Cream questions?". And then someone explained to her.
Maybe Gavin don't know too?
So theres an incident with luke and kenny?
Well, that's settle it. My aftertoon will be about reading all the questions and answers.
Someone said would Kenny be mad about Clementine after Sarita's arm. He said... would you?
Well, crap he also said he cried a bit recording lines. Noooooooo!
Lee Facking Clementine?
Gavin Hammon: Wait, what?
I fucking died lol
I asked if Kenny losing an eye would affect his marksmanship or sight in any way and he said I imagine so.

In fairness, he gets tons of 'em, and he tries to answer as many as he can.

Q: Will season two end in a cliffhanger???(you don't have spoil anything, just a yes or no or kinda)
A:Yes, I think so. Don't they all?
Oh god.

Sorry, I covered close to a thousand in the last 12 hours. What was your question?
I. LOVE. YOU.
And Giraffehat and Skoothz, I totally love you guys.

Id like to say thank you for answering a lot of my questions! It means a lot to me and your awesome for that.
But may I ask why you wont put a Easter basket on your head? Just a simple question. ;_;
Reading this completely made my day! Thank you so much!

I don't have any questions for you. But you are one awesome dude!
Sure thing.
You beautiful faced person, you've appeared! Not to sound creepy or anything
