I'm kinda dissapointed there wasn't an option to talk Kenny down.
Like:"What would Lee have done?". And then if you spared the St John bros in Season 1 ep 2, Kenny will think back to that and walk away from Carver.
The man had it coming, I'm agreed that the way he was killed is questionable depending on your views, but for me I was egging kenny on to splat the mofo, without question best death of S2
A painful execution, however, it has been shown that those who are either tortured publicly/executed, do send a powerful message to others a… moreround them.
It sends the message, "You do such things, these are the consequences."
If Kenny was looking to make a, "public example," of Carver, than that would be a way to do it.
Even though Carver's murder was obviously all about revenge.
What kenny did, in my opinion, was barbaric. I think he knew carver needed to die to protect any people that end up in his way, but he just killed him for revenge, for control.
That or (no offense kenny) a physcotic rage, i'm sure he has some emotinal or mental condition, after everything that happened to him.
I agree; Carver had to be executed as he was dangerous. Quick head-shot would've been sufficient.
But I'm guessing Kenny was as vicious as he was to Carver because he was imagining how Carver would've probably hurt Clem if she had admitted to stealing the radio.
Clem: "You didn't have to take the radio. Carver wouldn't've hurt me like this."
Kenny: "'Course I had to. No telling what that ass-wipe would've done to you."
In one of the non-canon deaths, Carver up and shoots Clem if you take too long to jump down on him/shoot him from the shelves. I was so shocked when that happened; I thought Carver would've wanted to at least "reform" her before outright killing her, especially after telling her how she reminds him of himself.
So I guess he could've been just as ruthless to Clem as he was to Kenny. 0.o

True that is a good point. I suppose it does depend on intention and it does send that message across.

It wasn't RIGHT. But, it was necessary, so he couldn't do any more harm.
