Very pleasantly surprised
I'm really loving the game so far. You guys have clearly understood the strengths and weaknesses of past adventure games and have perfected the design. There's no more unnecessary fiddling with different inventory combinations, or unnecessary and illogical puzzles to artificially lengthen the game. Instead, the game is lengthened by offering meaningful choices which add replayability without diluting the game. There are even action sequences that are a lot of fun and yet don't detract from the storytelling.
One minor flaw I have to mention is that I came across one or 2 rare instances so far where we're given a choice and then it seems like you only want us to pick the "correct" choice, and that's a shame. E.g. Snow appears to have been targeted for assassination, and we get to "choose" whether to proceed with her or proceed solo until the danger to her has passed. It appears that the only "correct" choice is for us to break character and "choose" to bring her out of cover. I really didn't like that forced "choice" - it might as well have been a non-interactive video segment. I hope this won't happen in future episodes/games.
But overall, I was very impressed with your game and look forward to the next episode, and plan to check out your other titles as well.
