Could be a determinant choice. Nick is already determinant, and what if there's some kind of choice for Sarah early in E4 about leaving her or something? Then the people that didn't leave her AND kept Nick will get the choice? Anyway, i'd pick Sarah, can't let a kid die like that.
Would probably save Nick.. I have the feeling I might have to explain way more stuff to Sarah in the long run and i'm just not up for that. I agree that it's not her fault that she is so sheltered, but I don't feel responsible for her at all.
I would save the person that looks like they're having the most trouble, then I'd try to save the other person. I honestly don't want to play favorites.
Easy.. Nick..He may be a little messed up but then who isnt after everything everyone has gone through. He can at least defend himself and others while Sarah is basically useless.
Lol. I hate when I post a comment disagreeing with someone on something and they have only one downvote, but I didn't downvote them. I feel like they suspect me or something. lol. I always want to tell them "I'm not the one who downvoted you". I normally don't downvote a comment unless is REALLY disagreeable, so I don't like people to think I'm the one who downvoted them just because I don't agree with them.
I think I would probably choose Sarah too. She'd be toast without a group. Nick could survive. I'm not sure I understand the original post though. Are they asking who would we save in a Doug/Carley type of situation (where they're both definitely going to die if you don't save one) or are they asking who would we abandon (but they still have a chance of surviving on their own)? In both situations I would save Sarah, even though she can annoy me at times. Like you, I'd feel the greater obligation to the younger person. I know that morality isn't the most valuable trait in the ZA, but it's the kind of thing that would take a long time to lose. I don't think Clementine is that callous yet. Nick's had a longer life (even though he's still pretty young, in his 20s I'd guess). Sarah's only 15 and was very sheltered. She hasn't had enough of a life yet. That's my reasoning anyways.
i saved nicks ass plenty of times
he's a big boy i mean he took on a mob of zombies with his fists right?! he's good
i refuse to give up on sarah, on my asshole playthrough sarah isn't as stupid some people make her out to be. she knows her dad shelters her and she knows the world is in a shitstorm she just doesn't know how to act. being a kid in the zombie apocalpyse can be a lot for someone like her
Ahhh, this is a hard question. I personally like Nick more as a character, and I promised Pete, which is a promise I intend to keep... but Sarah is also my Clem's friend, and Clem values her friends. I'd like to save Nick since I like him a lot as a character, and would like to have him around more than Sarah, but Sarah being young means she still has so much more to experience in life, and would probably need more help if she was in a determinant situation. So I'd probably lean more towards saving Sarah? It'd have to depend on the situation though, and who seems like they could use more help, but even then I'd have a hard time choosing. I'd definitely have to go back and save the other in another save file afterwards.

I have next to no knowledge on rifles, so my bad.
What about slanty-eyed oriental fiend?
Well,if I really had to choose only one, it would be Nick
I guess when it comes to rifles, You're out of your element?

More than I'd care to admit. All I know it that there's lever-action and assault. And maybe one in between, but I'm not so sure.
Nick seems more important to the group (can use a gun, fist fight against a bunch of walkers). But I don't have the strength to let a kid die.
I don't think it's strong to let kids die. It's stronger to save them.
I wouldn't say I "got Nick killed." I just chose to stay silent when Walter asked my opinion of Nick.

Lol
...Well shit. As much as I like Nick, I can't let Sarah die... But I can't really let Nick die either.
I... guess I would save one in my main playthrough and the other on my second one, but who I'd save first? I dunno.

Now I'm curious. I understand if you don't respond though. Nobody wants to get downvoted into oblivion. lol

MY GUN LESSONS BETTER PAY OFF TELLTALE!
Sarah. Kids always get priority in my book.

I can't, I'm sorry. I promised Pete that I'd do it... but then again, I pinky promised Sarah.
FUCK.
