Anyone Else Curious About...
The Cabin Group prior to Clementine running into them? I mean, we know that they escaped Carver once, but Carver, when first met at the cabin, also said not to trust these people (the Cabin Group). We know Alvin killed a man named George, presumedly while escaping Carver the first time, but does anyone else want to know the backstory? I mean, I feel like it was hyped the Cabin Group did something bad, then escaped, or whatever, and that it had seemed like it was a bigger-kind of thing, but then there wasn't much mention of any of it.
Do you guys think there was originally going to be another story once at Howe's, or was this whole situation just dialogue to be there, with no real meaning?

Those stories were to give the characters a more realistic feel and could give the writers to work on in the future. Its not like they're just gonna give us characters that only has a backstory which relates to current events, that would be too coincidental and boring.

Yes!we get cabin days dlc!and we get to play as Carlos,Alvin,Carver, Rebecca, and Luke!
Don't forget Sarah, they'll be a quick time event when you need to nap while everyone talks downstairs.
Sounds like it could make for an interesting DLC.
I thought first off that they were hiding something like they weren't the people they were making themselves out to be kind've like the St Johns except not being cannibals but being nice at the start but then being revealed to be something else.
I'm more curious as to where Luke went when he disappeared those 2 times. He always doesn't say where he went either so i have a feeling telltale will do something with that because people will forget about it because Luke and Clem are so well bonded, that people will overlook him taking off and not explaining why but just my opinion.
Could just be Telltale suggesting that no one's innocent in the zombie apocalypse. They've all done something that would be questionable at one point or another. In the end, you can't be choosey about who you have with you. You go it alone, chances are you'll die. So if you had a choice between going it alone or the murderer, chances are you'd pick the murderer just to have someone to back you up ... even if there's a chance they'll stab you in the back. Clem killed Lee (or got him killed), possibly killed the stranger, resulted in Omid's death, and has stolen a variety of items (among other things). ... That's like the pot calling the kettle black. Clem fits right in to the cabin group.
Carver could have also been lying or stretching the truth to get Clem to side more with him. Given that the group didn't seem to deny his accusations, that's not too likely, though.
It could be the DLC this time around, but it'd make more sense to have a DLC bridging season 2 and season 3, not going back to explain something that honestly wasn't that important to the season. That'd be like people asking for a DLC on the chick who committed suicide at the motel or on the Stranger or on Mark or Chuck or Ben before they joined the group. Besides, not everything needs to be explained. Often times, leaving things open makes it more interesting. It gives you something to wonder about and gets you creatively thinking. For some, they might be compelled to write a fanfic which could then branch off into an actual writing career. So it's not a bad thing that some things aren't explained ... although for the less creative, it can be frustrating.
